Help young dogs make a smooth transition from soft puppy sleeves to a standard hard bite sleeve with the ActiveDogs Intermediate Dog Training Bite Sleeve. Designed to provide a medium bite, this sleeve gives developing dogs the opportunity to progress their bite work before moving on to harder, more advanced training equipment.
The sleeve is constructed from durable bite suit-style French linen material and is padded and quilted for added protection and comfort during training. Approximately 1" of padding provides a protective layer around the forearm while maintaining the softer feel needed for dogs that are still developing their bite.
Unlike a standard hard bite sleeve, this intermediate sleeve contains no hard internal material. The softer construction allows the handler to still feel pressure from a strong bite while the durable outer material and padding help protect the arm from the dog's teeth. This makes it an excellent transitional training tool between puppy equipment and a traditional hard sleeve.
The sleeve fits snugly and securely around the forearm for better control while working the dog. A built-in wooden handle provides a solid grip inside the sleeve, helping the handler keep it securely positioned throughout the training session.
Designed for young and developing working dogs, this intermediate sleeve provides the medium bite needed to help build confidence and prepare the dog for progression to a standard hard bite sleeve.
