The Child’s Safety Harness Vest has many convenient features which help facilitate teaching and training a child to work with a service dog. The adjustable shoulder straps are made with reflective webbing as an added safety feature. The harness can easily slip over a child's head. Since some children do not like anything touching their head, we have made these straps to buckle on and off. The bottom chest strap is elastic which gives the child full range of movement.
The front panel of the harness vest has a Hook and Loop closing, clear vinyl window pocket for an identification or medical information card. This is helpful should the child and supervisor become separated.
The back panel has a handle in case the child’s supervisor needs to give the child assistance. This handle is reflective for added visibility. The D-ring on the back of the harness vest is for attaching a leash. This allows the child to have some space while training; yet at the same time, keeps the child close enough to the supervisor.
