Handcrafted from two layers of soft supple black latigo leather that are stitched and riveted together, this professional-quality guide harness delivers exceptional strength while remaining flexible and comfortable for daily use.
Crafted from premium latigo leather, the Activedogs Guide Dog Harness combines superior durability with a soft flexible feel that breaks in quickly for added comfort. Latigo leather is dyed completely through to help resist fading and maintain its rich black appearance over time. During the tanning process, oils and conditioners are infused into the leather, making it highly water-resistant and resistant to drying or cracking like traditional harness leather. The harness can also be easily cleaned and re-oiled to maintain long-lasting performance.
Designed for comfort and stability, the front chest pad is lined with genuine shearling padding to help reduce pressure and increase comfort during extended wear. The reinforced two-layer standing handle includes an internal steel bar for added strength and stability and stands approximately 5" tall for dependable guidance control.
The adjustable chest and girth straps allow for a secure customizable fit, while two side-mounted D-rings provide attachment points for the compatible reflective bridge handle (sold separately). This harness is specifically designed for guidance applications and is not intended for mobility assistance use.
