What is a clatter stick?
The clatter stick is a tool used in dog sports, particularly in Ring Sport, Schutzhund and sometimes in K9 agitation. It's designed to stimulate a dogs's drive and reduce its sensivity to noise. The stick produces a rattling sound and is used to provide tactile desensitzation.
This stick is made of four 31” pieces bamboo that are fastened together and padded to provide you with a comfortable handle. This version of the bamboo stick is ideal when working with a helper because there are no sharp edges and it won’t cut the dog.
