The ActiveDogs Search & Rescue Hi-Vis Tracking Harness was designed by an experienced search and rescue handler who recognized the need for a highly visible, stable, and functional tracking harness for working dogs. Available in either High-Visibility Yellow/Lime or Fluorescent Orange, this harness helps improve visibility in the field while providing exceptional comfort and performance during tracking, search operations, building searches, and training exercises.
The double-girth design creates a more secure and stable fit, helping reduce shifting while the dog is working. Two heavy-duty D-rings provide flexible lead attachment options. The front D-ring is ideal for close control, while the rear D-ring allows long lines to track more naturally, reducing tangles and improving freedom of movement.
The chest plate is padded and lined with soft Sherpa for comfort while helping distribute pressure across the dog's chest during tracking and pulling. Reflective webbing on the chest and throughout the harness increases visibility during evening operations and low-light conditions. The back plate is also padded with Sherpa for additional comfort during extended wear.
A fold-flat handle on top provides quick control when needed and secures down with hook-and-loop when not in use, helping prevent snagging while working in brush, debris, or confined spaces.
The harness is also compatible with the ActiveDogs GoPro Camera Mount (sold separately), making it an excellent choice for training, tracking, search work, and operational documentation.
